(TO SIGN UP email, as the student center is generating errors.)  Enjoy being outdoors in the Fingerlakes in this introduction to backcountry photography course.  Students will camp out and enjoy the beauty of this region.

No backpacking or photography experience necessary.  Participants do need to have their own camera (preferably with the camera manual).
The fingerlakes region is full of numerous opportunities for the avid nature photogarpher to refine their skills, this class will teach you some of the basics, including the rule of thirds, and how to utilize your exposure time to maximize your photographs. Fall semester class heads to the Adirondacks to maximize opportunities to get pictures of the fall colors.

COE requires that students attend the first class meeting of their course because of the critical logistics, policy, liability, and safety information that will be covered. If you do not show up for the first class you lose your right to retain your spot on the roster, and we may enroll another student in your place.  Students must attend all scheduled classes to receive credit for this course.
