Please contact Josh Giblin, Climbing Wall Manager, with any questions.

Belaying

The Lindseth Climbing Center requires the use of PBUS style toprope belay method. All belayers must past a Toprope Belay Proficiency Test
This free test must be taken at the beginning of your visit, and a day pass purchase is not required just to take the test. Lead Belayers must first have Toprope Belay certification, and then can take the Lead Climb and Belay Certification test.

Learn to Lead

If you are an experienced top rope climber, you may be interested in taking your climbing to the next level by learning to lead climb. The Lindseth Climbing Center is equipped for lead climbing at all levels. The class consists of two 3-hour sessions, for a total of six hours of instruction. Top rope belay certification is required and we recommend that you are comfortable climbing at 5.9 or higher grades on tall walls. All equipment is included in the course fee of $100 per person.

To schedule a lead climbing lesson, contact Josh Giblin at least one week in advance of your desired lesson date. Please include your climbing partner's contact information (if you have one), your preferred dates and times, and your preferred method of payment. The Climbing Wall Manager will contact you to schedule and confirm your lesson date and time. Payment is due in full at time of registration. Any cancellation must be processed more than 24 hours in advance, and is otherwise non-refundable. To reschedule a missed lesson you will be charged half of the fee of your lesson again. Participants must be at least 15 years old to participate in a Learn to Lead session.
